Duff Taylor Appointed As Head of Gaming Operation in Buffalo Casino

On April 30th, 2008, Duff Taylor has been appointed as the executive director for gambling operation in Buffalo Thunder Casino. The casino facility is under the new Buffalo Thunder Resort, a combined casino project of the Pueblo of Pojoaque and the Hilton Hotels Corporation, that will debut on August located in the northern part of Santa Fe.

Taylor possess thirty years of management, development and consulting capability in the gambling industry. He has debuted different casino facilities like the Fiesta Casino and Hotel facility in North Las Vegas and the Hyatt Grand Victoria Casino facility and the Hotel Rising Sun in Indiana. He also handled various projects for Las Vegas facilities like the MGM Grand and Four Queens facility.

Before taking the position as the executive director for gambling operation of the Buffalo Casino facility, he was the vice president of the Crystal Palace Casino facility in Nassau, Bahamas for casino operations. Taylor studied and graduated from the University of New Mexico and a Vietnam veteran.

The Buffalo Thunder Casino facility will feature 1,200 slot machines, casino table games, an off-track betting area and poker room. The resort facility will feature three hundred ninety rooms, a thirty-six golf course conceptualize by Hale Irwin and Bill Phillips, a health spa, a Red Sage restaurant facility managed by Chef Mark Miller, 2 swimming pools, tennis courts and a heritage center of American Indians.
