The Selectmen has sent a letter to the BIA which contains all of their concerns regarding the Mashpee Casino. Some of the concerns include the effects on environment, peace and others.

Clyde Barrow commented that he expects the casino proposal of Gov. Patrick to be revived when the time is right. Although the town of Middleborough is pushing ahead with its casino plans.

The casino partnership between the Viejas and Ewiiaapaayp Tribe appears to be headed for trouble. The gambling compact of Ewiiaapayp Tribe appears to have some legislation problems.

The Hoosier Park Casino will be opening its doors in June. General Manager Jim Brown said that they are already prepared for their opening in June.
