MichGO has filed a case before the U.S. Supreme Court in order to stop the Gun Lake Tribe from constructing a casino. The Supreme Court has yet to decide on the case.

The outside exterior of the Greektown Casino is already finished. The expanded gaming floor of the casino will open to the public on August 2008.

The Muskegon Board gave their unanimous approval for the casino proposal of the Ottawa Indians. Critics of the casino plan are disappointed on the decision of the board.

The Greektown Casino is looking for prospective employees for their permanent facility. Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick said that he hopes that a lot of Detroit residents will be hired in the casino.

The Clairvest Group will invest on the construction of the Casino New Brunswick. They will contribute around $33 million for the project.
